Today was easter sunday in San Francisco. This means, unless you have kids and are playing easter bunny, you are either at the Hunky Jesus Contest at Dolores Park or at the BYOBW race in Potrero Hill (18th street and Vermont, the real windiest street in SF). Last two years, I’ve made it out to see the ruckus (and my friend Nelson go zooming by on his tricycle) at the BYOBW event. This year I brought Bambi with me. She snuggled in my tote bag while we watched and interjected our staring here and there with “OOOoooooos, Whooooaaas, Dayyyyyym, and holy crap!” Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.
